AIRFIX FORD CORSAIR - 1967

This private commission project to create an authentic-looking Airfix plastic model kit box for a Ford Corsair from 1967.

Surprisingly although Airfix made several car models in 1/32nd scale, this distinctive British car (from 1967) was not made as a kit. I was contacted to create this artwork featuring an actual car. It is in beautiful condition, painstakingly restored it is in pristine mint condition. It looks brand new, and this illustration is a faithful representation of all the current trim.

I wanted to show off the car and have it in action. A visit to the beach seemed appropriate. The other kits shown on the sides of the box are actual Airfix kits of the time. Adding some authenticity.
