The Hood was a recurring threat to international rescue, but surprisingly only features in 6 episodes.

Trapped in the Sky, The Mighty Atom, Martian Invasion, Cry Wolf, Edge of Impact and Desperate Intruder.

In ‘Desperate Intruder’ the Hood spies on the lake Anasta Expedition from the lake itself. This painting shows the submarine next to the flooded temple. This ship seems like ia likely candidate for something that was kit-bashed, but I don’t know what. Possibly a re-worked model froman episode of ‘Stingray’.

In ‘the man from MI5’ Brains is testing a model sub in the family pool, and it is the same model – albeit cleaned up to look like a toy.

A series 2 model kit, in the German WW2 bomber light blue plastic.   I imagine this would have an aircraft stand.
