This 1/144nd scale model of the impressive Drilling and Crushing Excavator is featured in the episodes ‘Martian Invasion’. This multi functional ’pod vehicle’ is used to free two men trapped in a cave-in. It would surely be a best-selling ‘Series 1’ kit - approx 4 inches in length and in scale with the Thunderbird 2 super kit! One of the coolest ‘pod vehicles’.
I love the old Blister Packs and it fun painting kit parts and decals and the ‘rubber band’ tracks typical of the day. And painting the clear plastic packaging itself.
