TRANSMITTER TRUCK (Blister Pack) from the 1965 TV Series ‘THUNDERBIRDS’ created by Gerry Anderson
This 1/144nd scale model of the Transmitter Truck featured in the episode ‘Sun Probe’, and seen in the pad loading bay in ‘Cry Wolf’. This vehicle is a variant of the Gray & Houseman Explosives Tractor seen in ‘End of the Road’. One of the best looking land vehicles to appear in any of the Anderson shows.
It would surely be a best-selling ‘Series 1’ kit - approx 4 inches in length and in scale with the Thunderbird 2 super kit! One of the coolest ‘pod vehicles’.
I love the old Blister Packs and it fun painting kit parts and decals and the ‘rubber band’ tracks typical of the day. And painting the clear plastic packaging itself.
