MECHANICAL FISH

The Mechanical Fish (also known as Terror Fish), operated by Aquaphibians was the principal means of defense within TITAN’s underwater empire. Often engaging in deadly combat with the Terraineans. Titan and his Terror Fish were the most famous adversary of Troy Tempest and the super-sub Stingray.

I can just imagine this kit, with a movable hinged bottom jaw. internal detail might be sparse, forcing the avid fan or intrepid modeler to scratch build the control room and two Aquaphibian pilots. And a minimal interior for the missile launchers.

In 1/72nd scale this would probably come in around 6 inches in length. Probably a Series 2 kit, and molded in the Airfix ‘tank green’. No painting required! No decals! And moving parts: a classic Airfix kit of my youth. If only.
