Dogfight Double - Alan’s BR2 & Gomez’s No 7 from ‘Thunderbirds‘ created by Gerry Anderson
‘Move - And You’re Dead’ is a terrific episode and one of the more unusual of the series. .The story revolves around Alan’s participation in the Parola Sands Grand Prix - a motor-racing event where he is testing out a new automobile designed by Brains.
Victor Gomez another driver and his mechanic Johnny Gillespie are determined to win the race at all costs.
The race is featured prominently and is very well done, especially considering the limitations of puppets and miniatures. There are several crashes and emergency vehicles. But the focus is the two lead cars - No7 (Gomez) and No 2 (Tracy). The hazardous cliff stretch is a highlight with Gomez trying to bump Alan over the edge. It was an absolute must to depict the two cars in this scene.
