THE CLIFF HOUSE from ‘Thunderbirds’ (1965) created by Gerry Anderson

The Cliff House on ‘Tracy Island’ is a large building mounted mid-way up a 350 foot sheer cliff. It looks out over the runway that stretches out into the ocean. Maybe the house contains a games room, or some other recreational area and likely extends back into the cliff itself. There is a small jetty where speedboats are moored.

Of course, Tracy Island is the secret base of International Rescue, and hidden by this cliff is the hanger that houses Thunderbird 2. A vast area has been excavated to house the giant aircraft and the 6 Pods and parking and storage for the various heavy rescue vehicles. the cliff face lowers to reveal the hanger and the door folds down to continue the runway so that Thunderbird 2 can taxi out. the palm trees are mechanically operated to swing back, clear of the runaway and allowing space fpr the aircraft to pass.
