Magnacopter – from ‘Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons‘ created by Gerry Anderson

This massive helicopter is featured in the episode ‘The Trap’ where Spectrum organise a critical meeting of World leaders. The Mganacopter is used to transport the VIPs from Cloudbase to a remote location in Scotland. piloted by Symphony Angel.

I tried to make this painting feel as ’Scottish’ as possible and still show off the Magnacopter itself. I included the castle itself. Incidentally this model is a customized version of the same model used in the Stingray episode ‘The Lock Ness Monster’ as MacGregor castle and in the Thunderbirds episode ‘Thirty Minutes After Noon’ as Glengarry Castle.
