EAGLE TRANSPORTER - AIRFIX

The 1970s MPC / AIRFIX model kit of the EAGLE from Gerry Amderson’s ‘SPACE:1999’. This kit is fraught with shortcomings in terms of its overall appearance. The kit was extensively reworked based on an excellent article in ‘Sci-Fi Modeler magazine to get to this point.

This was before the excellent 1/48th scale 22” and 1/72nd scale 11” model kits from Round 2.

I was flattered to have this picture appear in the Reader’s Gallery of ‘FINE SCALE MODELER ’ magazine.
