EAGLE TRANSPORTER - 1/48th scale (22”)

From Gerry Anderson’s ‘Space:1999’. This is an excellent kit made by ROUND 2 models. It is thoroughly researched and superbly engineered. at 22” it is half the size of the principal 44” vfx model built for the series.

Built from the box, with only a handful of additional details, as well as some custom marking, added to the spine and cages. I scratch built a rough interior for the Passenger Module, as nothing is provided (true to the vfx model), but not much of this can be seen. Panel lines drawn with an HB pencil were added.

The ships are actually surprisingly clean so weathering is minimal.
