ORBITAL SPACE TRANSPORT

This is an origin al design for a futiristic spaceship intended for short distance transport. Intended to carry small but valuable cargo. I like the idea of it being a commercial vehicle… not quite a U-Haul or DHL delivery ship, but in that arena, albeit a futuristic, outer space setting. To be honest I have not put a huge amount of thought into the role. The basic shape came to me and I wanted to paint it. The upward facing turbine looking things generate power - the neon rings would feature contr-rotating ‘fan blades’ that look like verical slats in thsi still image. This does not belong to any known sci-fi universe. It is an original design.

I can see some of the inspirations in here from some designs that appeal to me by Syd Mead, Steve Begg, Ralph McQuarrie, RonCobb and Derek Meddings… and probably many more.
