From the 1963 Fantasy film ‘JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS’

The film was a collaboration between Producer by CHARLES H SCHNEER and special visual effects genius RAY HARRYHAUSEN, directed by Don Chaffey.

This film is based on the classical Greek Myths and its itself a film a classic, overflowing with imagination and featuring jaw dropping special effects sequences as Jason searches for the Golden Fleece.

I adore this design, inspired by the Colossus of Rhodes and brought to life by Ray Harryhausen’s superb animation.
